After the fox had gone to ground behind Ricker's hay barns, the Field hacked back to the meet, with visions of Breakfast dancing in front of eyes and stomachs.  Then, MFH Sue Doty-Lloyd back at the trailers saw the fox streak right across the meet and down the driveway . . . and they're off again!  Unfortunately the soaring temperature took the scent right off so it was a run to the view and then the hounds trying to follow the scent.  Incredibly enough, the early folks to leave were treated to a bemused pilot on the side of the road (was this a Rita Mae Brown novel?) looking for all the world like he was trying to hitch a ride to the Breakfast also!
