Wednesday's are often really neat days because the true diehards are out.  This day had a field of only four, Jordan and Michael.  Unfortunately the wind was blowing fairly hard and weather was moving in (and out!).  Still, there were some neat moments although much of it not in my sight (and failing camera battery).  The Quarry fox was moved out in the beginning cast but the hounds really could not follow.  Later, during a bit of rain, I sat in my car at the bottom dead end of Quarry Road and just up the hill, out popped our presumptive Quarry Fox!  A very disdainful look for me and then he turned and went up the hill, stopping just on a rise to leave a distinct token of fox scat as appreciation in the middle of the road before turning left into the woods and his den.  Just had to be sure we had the proper perspective on all this!

And the move-off.

Then up the tractor path to the duck blind field

Not over here!

Who-hoo!

But it should be over there!

Well, maybe down here . . .

Do I have to do this myself?

Did he really go in there?

Watching . . .

Watching, listening . . .

Where's Waldo? Oops, Jordan!

Starting to spit rain . . .

Shayne Haysom and Terri Morris with a welcome flask!

Across down to Vander Berg's

And the field . . .

Finally the rain sets in a bit.

But a bit later - no rain again!

Coming in - spotty scent but always fun!
