What does it mean to be a member?
It means you support the club by helping out at hunter paces/ dressage shows, exercise the hounds, go cubbing, be part of a great social club who are all crazy about horses, go hunting, and most importantly, have fun!!
Why do you have to pay to be a member?
Windy Hollow Hunt is a non-profit. We have costs, as like any other social club, such as running the kennels (food, vet bills, cleaning, heating, maintenance), and all the other unseen costs we get to enjoy from the club without even worrying that the daily work is being carried out.
Are there membership levels?
Yes.
Full: Full hunting privileges. May attend all social functions and breakfasts, receive newsletter and email updates.
Family: Full hunting privileges, as above, to a family unit and all of their children under 18, or under 22 if a full time student.
Young Adult: Full hunting privileges, as above, for a person between the ages of 18 and 30.
Junior: Full hunting privileges, as above, for persons under the age of 18, or if enrolled as a full time student and under 22.
Limited: May hunt four (4) times. May upgrade to full member on or before their 4th hunt. May purchase four (4) additional hunts upon payment of a further limited membership. Hunts cannot be carried forward if not used. May attend all social functions and hunt breakfasts; receive newsletter and email updates.
Social: May cap once per season upon payment; may attend all social functions and hunt breakfasts, receive newsletter and email updates. May upgrade to limited or full member on or before their 1st hunt, upon payment.
