What does it mean to be a member?
It means you support the club by helping out at hunter paces/ dressage shows, exercise the hounds, go cubbing, be part of a great social club who are all crazy about horses, go hunting, and most importantly, have fun!!
Why do you have to pay to be a member?
Windy Hollow Hunt is a non-profit. We have costs, as like any other social club, such as running the kennels (food, vet bills, cleaning, heating, maintenance), and all the other unseen costs we get to enjoy from the club without even worrying that the daily work is being carried out.
Are there membership levels?
Below are the membership categories and 2011 pricing.
Full: Full hunting privileges. May attend all social functions and breakfasts, receive newsletter and email updates. ($2,510.00)
Family: Full hunting privileges, as above, to a family unit and all of their children under 18, or under 22 if a full time student. ($3,825.00)
Young Adult: Full hunting privileges, as above, for a person between the ages of 18 and 30. ($785.00)
Junior: Full hunting privileges, as above, for persons under the age of 18, or if enrolled as a full time student and under 22. ($350.00)
Weekday: May hunt all weekdays during hunting season. Weekends must pay appropriate cap. May attend all social functions and hunt breakfasts, receive newsletter and email updates After Jan. 1 may hunt any day. ($1,645.00)
Associate: May hunt four (4) times, and may hunt additional times upon payment of $100 per hunt capping fee. May upgrade to full member on or before their 6th hunt, upon payment. Hunts cannot be carried forward if not used. May attend all social functions and hunt breakfasts; receive newsletter and email updates. ($860.00)
Social: May hunt up to two times per season upon payment of $100 per hunt capping fee; may attend all social functions and hunt breakfasts, receive newsletter and email updates. ($150.00)
The Hunter Pace Enthusiast: Includes 3 hunter paces in the 2011 season. Includes one hunt. May hunt up to two additional times per season upon payment of hunt capping fee; may attend all social functions, hound exercises and hunt breakfasts, receive newsletter and email updates ($350)
